We did a stain test for a customer who wanted a dark stain like Espresso. The problem was he was doing it on maple, so we suggested using GF Water Based Wood Stain. We did a sample for him on some scrap wood he brought in. He loved it—so much color compared to an oil stain. Plus, less smell and faster dry time.
